House Calls:
If you require a house call, please try to arrange this a day in advance
to help us manage our time effectively. Urgent house calls will be
accommodated wherever possible. If your usual doctor is unavailable
you may choose to be seen by one of the other available doctors.
Telephone Calls:
One of the doctors will always be available to take your call if it is
urgent. To keep interruptions to a minimum, all other calls may need
to be returned if your doctor is with another patient at the time
of your call. In many cases, the receptionists may be able to assist.
Prescriptions & Referral Letters:
An important element of good medical care is continuity. To ensure that you receive the best continuity of care, your doctor will usually need to see you before writing a prescription or referring you to a specialist. Please make sure you see your doctor BEFORE seeing the specialist : by law, referral letters cannot be backdated. The same applies to medical certificates. |
