Appointments:
We suggest that you telephone in advance for an appointment with your
usual doctor. We will always try to accommodate you should you or your
child need to see your doctor urgently. If your usual doctor is unavailable
you may choose to see one of the other available doctors.
"Standard" consultations are usually 15 minutes. If you think you will need
more time, for example, if you have more than one problem to discuss,
please ask the receptionist for a longer appointment.
Fees:
Your payment is required at the time of consultation. Each doctor is
responsible for setting his or her own fees. A guide to your doctors'
fees is posted in the waiting room and is also available at reception.
If you have any concerns or questions,
please do not hesitate to ask your doctor.
As a general guide, most of the doctors charge private fees, with
concession rates available where appropriate. Veteran’s Affairs cards are accepted.
Payment may be made by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS.
The receptionists will offer to fill in and send your Medicare claim form to facilitate your rebate.

Waiting Times:
We understand that your time is valuable, so we always try our best to
run to time. Due to the unpredictability of some problems in general practice,
your doctor may sometimes run late. The usual cause is a patient earlier
in the day requiring more time than was originally booked when the appointment
was made, or due to an emergency. So when you make your appointment,
be sure to ask the receptionist for a longer appointment if you think you
will need more time.
Test and Procedure Follow-up:
To maximize the quality of your medical care, it is vital that you make
yourself aware of these results even if they are normal.
This is the responsibility of both the doctor and the patient.
Your doctor will advise you how this is to be arranged.
Reminder Systems:
The practice is committed to preventative care. Your doctor will
seek to your permission to be included on our reminder system.
If you do not want to be part of this system please let your doctor know.
